Developed through a four-year collaborative effort across Europe by Foton, BFDA, and Cummins—coupled with a rigorous 10 million-kilometer road testing phase—the Foton AUMAN EST stands as a heavy-duty tractor tailored for the high-end logistics sector.

Foton Motor Group leverages its integration of top-tier global automotive supplier resources, partnering with U.S.-based Cummins and Germany’s Daimler. By leveraging smart trucks and intelligent logistics technologies, the group aims to deliver green, efficient, safe, and intelligent logistics and transportation system solutions within China. These solutions are designed to achieve three key goals: a 30% reduction in fuel consumption, a 30% cut in carbon emissions, and a 70% boost in freight transport efficiency.

The Auman EST Super Truck marks the first generation of high-efficiency, Internet-connected super heavy-duty trucks. It was co-created by Foton Daimler, drawing on advanced technological expertise from the U.S., Germany, and China, along with a world-class supply chain system.

By adopting the cutting-edge CAN-BUS technology developed by Continental AG, this vehicle enables real-time online monitoring, diagnosis, and analysis of faults—effectively enhancing the overall stability and safety of the entire vehicle. Built on a modular, platform-based electronic architecture that leverages CAN-BUS technology, the system not only elevates the vehicle’s emission standards but also optimizes the integration of safety-related systems (including ABS, ASR, engine brake, and more) with practical application scenarios.

Intelligent brake control system

This system intelligently manages all braking components in response to the vehicle’s real-time operating conditions. Its main functions include delivering precise deceleration control, ensuring balanced brake force distribution, coordinating braking between tractor and trailer, supporting auxiliary brake functions, enhancing braking comfort, and monitoring as well as controlling brake wear—along with other essential features.

Super-Fleetboard Management
By integrating with the multimedia system, recorder, and other functions, it enables remote diagnostics, automatic rescue, vehicle alarms, monitoring, fuel consumption management, driving behavior analysis, and more. Through connection with the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), it fully realizes intelligent management across drivers, vehicles, and cargo.
